What My Birth Doula Clients Are Saying

“We LOVE Sarah! While pregnant with our first, I interviewed many doulas and none of them felt like the right fit for us…until I met Sarah. From our first conversation on the phone I felt so connected with her and I knew I wanted her to be apart of our birth team. One of the best choices I’ve ever made. She was an amazing resource throughout pregnancy from sleep to birthing classes, supported me emotionally when I was unexpectedly induced (she showed up at the hospital with a warm meal and walked me through some breathing exercises to help calm my nerves) and then continued to support me for weeks postpartum. She made me feel so seen and most importantly held during such a vulnerable time. And her food?! Simply divine! Highly recommend working with Sarah, you won’t regret it!.”

“Hiring Sarah as our doula was the best decision we made during pregnancy! We decided we wanted to hire a birth doula to ensure continuity of care throughout labor and delivery — Sarah filled that role and so much more. She checked in with me after every prenatal appointment and pointed us to helpful resources whenever we had questions or concerns. Around 30 weeks, we started realizing that we felt unheard and dismissed by our midwives and doctors. It was Sarah who first encouraged us to look into switching providers, and at 32 weeks we moved to a different practice where I finally felt cared for and in control of my pregnancy and birth. Sarah’s support and validation were crucial for successfully navigating that stressful time. During labor, Sarah was a calming presence who helped both my husband and I feel at ease. I was so grateful for her expertise during that time — suggesting position changes, helping us decide when to go to the hospital, and helping me keep my body relaxed and stay in a good headspace. Our birth was a positive and empowering experience in no small part due to her support. Highly recommend hiring Sarah as your birth doula!! <3”

“Sarah is one of the sweetest souls! I found her when searching for a doula for my first birth. I immediately felt a connection! The way she listens and helps you make informed decisions. She helped me achieve the birth I prepared for, my husband and I both felt so supported, calm and empowered on my daughters birth day! Also all the education she provides to mother's is amazing! I would have loved to have her for my postpartum experience as well. She is always posting the food she makes to help nurture the mother's she serves. Everything she does she does out of love of caring for us mamas!”

What My Postpartum Clients Are Saying

“Hiring Sarah as my postpartum doula was one of the best decisions I made for my health after giving birth to my first child. My only regret is that I didn’t also hire her as my birth doula. Like many women, neither my birth nor my postpartum experience went as expected. Sarah was a shining light of love and support during an otherwise very dark time for me. I looked forward to her weekly visits because I knew the physical and mental respite they provided. We purchased her package that includes meals and let me tell you, it is a MUST. Every one of those meals was the best I ate. She has an extensive knowledge of maternal nutrient needs and sources only the best ingredients, cooked with love and care. The meals were so good I had her send me all the recipes and we still make them to this day. Every visit she spent hours with us, cooking, talking, helping out in any way that suited what I needed most that day. She would also text me multiple times a day after my birth to see how I was doing and talk through anything that was on my mind. The truth is I was a mess emotionally but I felt so seen every time I spoke with her. She helped me troubleshoot and find resources as we struggled with breastfeeding and sleep deprivation. She even took an extra hour and a half of our her day one time to sit on a lactation consultant call with me. When you’re preparing for this incredible transition that comes with the arrival of a new baby, it’s easy to underestimate the power and importance of having the support that someone like Sarah provides. On top of all the other expenses that come with a new baby, you question will it really be worth the cost to also pay for a doula or postpartum meal delivery? The answer is 100% yes. Sarah is out of this world with the level of knowledge and support she gives other mamas and I am forever grateful she was a part of my postpartum plan.”

“Wow! Where do I start? I have had the privilege of being nourished by several of Sarah’s amazing, nourishing meals and have also received some of the most genuine, loving postpartum support during her visits to my home. As a birth and postpartum doula, I cannot professionally recommend Sarah enough! She offers extensive knowledge of the whole pregnancy, birth, and postpartum process, and thoughtfully creates meals with handpicked ingredients that truly nourish and benefit the mother. Sarah is such an incredible asset to our community and as I have experienced firsthand, she truly puts the mother first, offers a safe space to be vulnerable and heal, and genuinely deeply cares about every mama that she crosses paths with. Personally and professionally, I cannot recommend Sarah’s services more!! Sarah’s visits to my home allowed me to process my birth story while being nourished with delicious tea and being held in her grounding , calming presence. Not only is Sarah a true gem and such a beautiful support and bright light, but her food is INCREDIBLE!! The flavor, the quality, the presentation, and the love that goes into her meals is truly one of a kind. Every mama deserves the true love and care Sarah offers and I feel genuinely blessed to have developed this deep connection and to have experienced firsthand the amazing care and support Sarah offers! What My Cooking Clients Are Saying

“I crossed paths with Sarah through a mutual friend a few weeks before our due date. We were interested in her postpartum meal services. This is one area we had prepped for a little bit, but with no family in Colorado, we wanted to get ourselves something high quality, fresh and nourishing. The process was so easy- I messaged Sarah and we set a time to chat and discuss what I was looking for, what my preferences/restrictions were (Im mostly vegetarian and she was incredible at accommodating this!) and the logistics of everything. A few weeks later our new little darling arrived and we simply notified Sarah and set a date and ended up with the most delicious meal. I use the term ‘meal’ loosely- I actually got about 4-5 meals/servings out of everything!! It all was delicious local food- thoughtfully prepared and specifically beneficial for postpartum healing and such a welcome fresh treat after a few days of freezer meals. And her chocolates for desert were to die for. I need a never ending supply of those!! Overall, this is one service I didn’t know I needed and now wouldn’t go without. A perfect way to treat and take care of yourself after welcoming your babe earth-side or a perfect gift for an expecting friend/family member. Can’t recommend Sarah and her postpartum meal service enough!!!!”

“I reached out to Sarah via instagram when I saw her postpartum meal delivery service. Best purchase I made hands down! After being trapped in the hospital for 3 days, this food was life changing for my mood. It was truly incredible--and was still hot when it came home!!! Homemade everything--bread, ghee, butternut squash soup, beets and carrots, chia seed puddings, hot tea. All easy to eat and grab while taking care of a newborn. I was eating it for multiple days. Looking back on my postpartum experience, this meal was a major highlight to get me feeling like myself again. I cannot recommend it enough!!! It was worth every dime.”

“I wanted to hire Sarah as my postpartum doula for my Spring 2021 baby as she has extensive training in meal preparation for new mothers. I don’t love to cook In general and I wanted to focus on really healthful meals that would support my breastfeeding journey. She was unfortunately moving out of our area during my birthing time so instead, Sarah designed a menu of meals and snacks that freeze well so that I could easily reach for nutrient dense, nourishing foods while caring for my new baby. Sarah prepared large batches of bone broth, lentil soup, butternut squash soup, meatballs, gluten free breakfast burritos, dark chocolate/peanut butter energy cups with Gogi berries, and the ingredients to make delicious bread to go with the soups. She thoughtfully packaged all meals into single serving size portions in mason jars for freezing and delivered them two weeks before my due date. I continued to reach into the freezer for the first five weeks postpartum for these foods which was critical to my recovery. Every mother deserves the tender support Sarah provides whether it’s in the form of her cooking delivered right to your door, or her emotional and practical lifestyle support as a seasoned mother herself. I spent so much time preparing for my pregnancy and birth and I am so incredibly thankful that I planned for this part of postpartum because the sleep deprivation is real. I was so busy caring for a new baby I could not possibly think about preparing such nutritious meals. Thank you Sarah for supporting my journey! I couldn’t have done it without you!”
